Nevada Supreme Court offers E-Filing training
Obviously, efiling is coming to the Nevada Supreme Court, because they are offering training in use of the system. Note the following:
The Nevada Supreme Court will be offering training on the usage of the eFlex Filer Interface system (electronic filing system). The training is available to all attorneys and support staff. The goal of the training is to provide sufficient information to enable the filer to comfortably utilize the system to submit filings. Each two hour session will help the filer request their production user account, give a quick overview of the system, review the most frequently asked questions and provide hands-on exercises on how to complete various types of filings.
Training will be conducted at the following locations.

Perhaps someone can point me to a notice stating when the Nevada Supreme Court efiling begin !
Hat tip to CCBA’s Court News
Tami,
The Nevada Supreme Court adopted "generic" electronic filing rules applicable to all Nevada courts effective March 2007 (ADKT 404). Earlier this year, an RFP went out for a vendor to implement an e-filing system at the Supreme Court. Per the Court it is implementing a pilot program beginning in late February for non-mandatory e-filing in criminal cases (which is probably why we civil lawyers have never heard of this). Apparently, civil cases will be brought into the e-filing mix at a later date.
Typically, none of this is on the Court's less-than-helpful website. I know, we should all just be grateful that they finally started posting unpublished opinions, but some organizational clarity to the website would be nice. It would also be nice if they would actually include information that we look for, (like this, all of the ADKT's that are published, etc). You really shouldn't have to send them an e-mail to get clarification on items like this.
Anyway, hope this is helpful.
