www.blogspot.com – AKA blogger - Popular, easy to use, an assortment of templates. Has the necessary basics. Less commonly used for “professional” sites.
www.typepad.com – Available free for “personal” blogs, for a small free for commercial blogs. Many free templates available, others for very small charge.
www.wordpress.org - Preferred by professionals who do not want to pay, customization available for relatively low rates.
